What is "Good" writing for me?

During the today's SE class and after that, I thought about the question; "what is "Good" writing?". Now I have 3 opinions to the question, so I want to show them to you.

Firstly, good writing should have author's opinions and, new or unique information or ideas which some people do not know about or people want to know about. If a writing does not have any opinion, the writing would have only information, so to read it is very mechanical and insipid. Also, If a writing does not have new information or ideas, that is, if a writing has only information or ideas which people have already known, can people be eager to read it? Many people tend to read a writing to know about new information or new idea (I know that novels do not always have new information or ideas, but the novel's atmospheres, structures or contents tend to be unique.), so if there is no rare information or ideas to readers, people do not want to read it!! It is not "Good" writing.

Secondly, if people want to write a good writing, they should open their mind to readers. It means that they should write their opinions and what they feel "unreservedly". They should not hide what they feel to protect themselves from being criticized by some readers. To open their mind may often lead to some argumentation, but through the argumentation, people have a possibility to know about more information or ideas ,that is new to authors and readers. Sometimes, it is also possible to get over their conflicts. From only "general" writing, nothing results.

Thirdly, (this is talked during the last SE class,) good writing should have some viewpoints which make people think about the topic more deeply. Only reading and NO thinking is nonsense. If you are a ICU student, you probably want to use the critical thinking.

Therefore, good writing should have these points: new ideas, open mind and good viewpoints, I think.
